What is it? A weekly, 1-hour interactive zoom course on the basics for starting a podcast (4 hours total). It will include worksheets and checklists you can take home to help you continue the podcast creation and production process.
Price? $200 per person, $50 discount if you subscribe to TheFormat. Here’s an outline of the interactive course….
Week 1: The Tools
Hardware (microphones, cameras) and software (recording software) options at various price points that I’ve tried and are CS approved.
Week 2: The Brand & Production
- Thinking about your podcast goals, format, style, name
- Visual and audio branding
- Finding and pitching guests
Week 3: The Edit
- Editing options, techniques, tools etc
- Writing show notes
Week 4: Going Live!
- Publishing and production flows
- how to select, set up and manage an RSS feed etc.
Once we get 5 people to sign up, we will run the course each Wednesday in May 2025! Maximum number of signups is 10.
